I started writing stuff on the internet in 2010. It was mostly about make-up until I realised that there’s only so much you can say about lipstick and also that I am not good-looking enough to be a beauty writer. Instead I took to the internet to vent my feelings on all the things that are seemingly put on this earth solely to piss me off, of which there are many.
After finishing university with an utterly useless degree in Politics & English in 2010, I got in a job in advertising where my specialist knowledge of 17th century poetry has gone completely untapped. I currently live in Islington with my two wonderful, long-suffering housemates, who even after a year of begging won’t let me get a dog.
I met Carla mid-way through university where we discovered a shared interest in fizzy wine, cute typography and making videos of our mutual friend Becky rolling around in PVA glue and gravy granules so we could become internet famous. (We actually managed over 100,000 hits on YouTube, which we thought was pretty good going.)
After graduating from Loughborough in 2011, Carla moved to North West London where she works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer specialising in infographics. Her creative juices are for hire, so if you’re ever in the market for some custom website graphics, portraiture or any other arty shit you can visit her website at www.carlajuniper.com.
Incurably Curious is hosted on WordPress.com and uses the Surburbia theme with the Custom CSS upgrade. The CSS was designed and coded by me with graphics and illustration by Carla Juniper.
